Surrounded by mighty Himalayan peaks, the immaculate glacial Kedartal lake is magical. Heading from Gangotri, the Kedartal trek is strenuous but enthralling as one can witness the magnificent  Gangotri range where Mt Thalaysagar, Bhrigupanth, and Mt Meru, embrace the skyline. The Himalayan giants encapsulate the mountain lake. Reflection of the Thalaysagar peak in crystal clear waters of Kedartal offers beautiful visuals while the trail is mostly rugged with rock terrains, filled with screes and boulders. Difficulty: Intermediate 

This is one of the most challenging treks in Uttarakhand. Previous experience of trekking above 3500 m-4000 m is a MUST. The trekker needs to be prepared to walk on various terrains and some tricky sections.

Please Note: On the last day, you should reach Dehradun by 5-6 p.m. Make any plans for onward journeys accordingly.
