Departure

NJP

The trek to Goecha La is one of the finest adventures in the Indian Himalayas. The highest mountain pass in Sikkim is an alluring package of experiencing the 360-degree view of snow-shrouded peaks from two vantage points, one is Dzongri top and another is Goecha La viewpoint 1. You will be thrilled with the dense jungle above Tsohka and rhododendron in spring is the cherry on the cake. The outstanding view of the southeast face of Kanchenjunga, the third highest in the world is the most highlighted part of this trek as well and a view of Tinchenkang, Jopuno in full snow can be a special add-on.

On the first day, pick-up time- 9 a.m.
On the last day, one should reach NJP by 5-6 p.m. Make any plans for onward journeys accordingly.

Max Altitude – 4700m / 15400ft (Viewpoint 1)
Best time- April, October

Reserve day
If the buffer day is used, you have to pay us Rs 2100 per day(INR). The money will be collected by the trek leader, only if we use the reserve day. It depends on the weather conditions of the trek and the call will be taken by the trek leader.

Difficulty level : Intermediate
Previous experience of trekking above 3500-4000m is helpful. The trekkers need to be prepared to walk on various terrains such as scree, snow, and grass. In April, prepare to encounter snowfall. Though this trek can be attempted by advanced beginners, 1-2 past experiences could be a cushion.
