The trek starts from Jobra, from the Allain Guhugal Hydel Project junction. Throughout the first two days, we follow the Rani Nallah(river). The top of the pass is a rather flat one, stretching through almost 300 m. The descent into Lahaul is not so straightforward with a steep descent into the valley of a tributary river of Chandra. After ending our main course (trek) at Chatru, we go for the sumptuous desert and a visit to Moon Lake. Chatru, being on the main road connecting Lahaul and Spiti valleys, is near Chandratal. A fascinating drive of 3 hours and 15 minutes of hiking takes us to the banks of Chandratal. Don’t miss the opportunity to photograph the surrounding peaks while returning.

Difficulty level: Intermediate
Previous trek experience will be helpful, but not mandatory. Long ascents and descents can be tiring if not sufficiently physically prepared. Be ready to walk on grass, snow, and scree.
Day 1 Pick up time- 8 a.m.
You are suggested to reach Manali one day before.
On the last day, you should reach Manali by 7-8 p.m. Make any plans for onward journeys in next morning.
