The Green Lake Trek in Sikkim is an enchanting adventurous odyssey into the heart of Kanchenjunga National Park. The crown jewel of this adventure is undoubtedly the Green Lake itself, a glacial wonder on the lap of Kanchenjunga massif and cradled by snowy mountains. Green Lake is situated at the base of Mt Kanchenjunga on the Zemu Glacier.This trek is not only a physical challenge but also a spiritual journey, offering moments of serenity and wonder amidst the rugged grandeur of the Himalayas , that fills you with therapeutic feelings. Difficulty: Intermediate
Previous experience of trekking above 4,500m is a MUST. The trekker needs to be prepared to walk on various terrains such as scree, snow, forest and grass. The trek is long and strenuous, with some tricky sections, like glacier trekking, negotiating the moraine zone, and camping at 5000m. All these add different dimensions to this journey. .
Please note: On the last day, you should reach Gangtok by 5-6 p.m. Make any plans for onward journeys accordingly
Reserve day: If the buffer day is used, you have to pay us Rs 3500 INR per day. The money will be collected by the Trek Leader only if we use the buffer day. This depends completely on the weather conditions on the trek and the call will be taken by the trek leader.
