Sandakphu with Chintaphu

When a classic trek is approached with an enthralling twist, it becomes an alluring treat for mountain lovers. After reaching Sandakphu through the quintessential and magical trail Dhotrey–Tonglu–Kalapokhri, the trek turns to Goruwale, a tiny known village in the llama district of Nepal. Chintaphu is a 4 km uphill trek from this place. From the top splendid view of the 8000 m peak welcomes you. The return journey following the village trail via Maimajua and Maipokhri mesmerizing with birds, flora and fauna. This trek is best for March and April for walking into the forest of rhododendron and cherry blossoms.

Max Altitude- 3636 m/12000 ft
Best time- October to May.

Day 1 Pick-Up time- 9 a.m.
On the last day, one should reach NJP by 4-5 p.m. Make any plans for onward journeys accordingly.

Difficulty level: Beginners.
Previous experience of trekking is not required. Basic fitness is needed to walk for several hours a day on uphill trails.
